The RV-100 is an unlimited range, research-grade device for the continuous measurement of dynamic viscosity in reaction vessels of any capacity. The narrow-bodied enclosure takes up minimal space at the top of the vessel, leaving plenty of room for ancillary equipment, such as for stirring, reagent addition or temperature measurement. Although robust, the device is light enough to be fitted to a laboratory-sized reaction vessel without requiring additional support. A standard conical joint is supplied for a sealed connection to commercially available apparatus, or alternative fittings can be provided on request. The sensor is a solid probe with no moving parts, bearings or seals that could wear out or fail in service, and it is available in any length to suit different vessel sizes. The standard sensor is constructed from 316-stainless steel, but other materials can be used if required.
