14 March 2006 -- Ametek has expanded its range of temperature calibrators. Designated the CTC-1200, the latest instrument to be added covers the temperature scale in the high range from 300C to 1205CC, with an excellent stability of 0.1C. Designed to do calibration functions in the shortest possible it is able to heat up and cool quickly.
Combining these abilities with the established auto stepping function gives it an impressive timesaving feature.
The CTC-1200 can be controlled by using Jofra calibration software, which is a fast and easy way to provide documentation of the calibration results.
Optional extras include a wide range of inserts to meet the requirements for calibration of all types of sensors.
Sensors tested by the CTC-1200 are immersed 110mm down into the insert to ensure that the whole thermo-sensitive part of the sensor is covered with required temperature.
This temperature calibrator has uses in incineration plants, foundries, tile works and companies performing heat treatment of steel, and fire tests.
It also has applications in the process, engineering, laboratory and manufacturing industries.
