January 25, 2007 -- Southampton-based touch sensor manufacturer Quantum Research Group has launched litigation against Apple regarding electronic components (specifically the capacitive sensing technology) used in the iPod Click Wheel.
The company believes Apple has infringed its patents for some uses, and first launched litigation against the company in December 2005. Apple is denying the charge, and has filed counterclaims.
