With nearly 30 years experience of providing vibration measurement solutions on a wide range of machinery, the company will be demonstrating the effectiveness of condition monitoring, with a vibration simulation test system. Utilising a range of their vibration and displacement sensors in combination with SpyderNet vibration trending monitors and the Sentry machine protection system, visitors to the stand will be able to simulate various rotating machinery fault conditions and observe the monitoring and trending instrumentation in action.
As well as a broad selection of informative brochures covering their range of transducers and monitoring systems, this year Sensonics will also feature a new Turbine Supervisory Guide, providing practical advice, as well as highlighting monitoring techniques suitable for industrial plants.
Sensonics manufacture a wide range of reliable easy-to-use vibration sensors, displacement sensors and protection systems for critical rotating plant, including high integrity products specifically for IEC 61508 (SIL rated) applications and safety related systems. In addition the company provides specialist solutions for ATEX, remote, underwater and radiation applications.
For the future, a significant grant recently awarded by the dti, will assist with research and development of a new range of sensors and systems for API670 gas turbine applications.
