The 9428 non-contacting rotary position sensor incorporates cost-reducing design technology. The sensor offers virtually all of the advantages of a traditional position sensor of this type at about half the usual cost. The output of the 9428 sensor can be programmed to user requirements within its 110-degree mechanical travel. Also featured is clockwise or counter clockwise rotation and reversible voltage protection. The sealed PC board construction meets IP 67 standards. Typical applications include agricultural, industrial, heavy truck, heavy off-road, RV, and golf cart vehicles. The new sensor is said to have the ability to withstand temperature extremes and harsh environments while providing fast, dependable system response.
