12 December 2006 -- Acquisition Solutions K has completed the development of its OEM mass spectrometer MSQ to bring it to end-users. An enclosure and a GC interface have been added to the bare instrument. The instrument is described as a good companion to an SRI GC (see online application note).
The cost of the machine complete with software, computer, vacuum pumps, vacuum gauge, and a GC interface is US$23,900.
It comes with a one year warranty.
Open architecture: customers interested in building on this technology will receive documentation, drawings, drivers, communication protocols, as well as some support at no cost.
