Non-Contacting Rotary Sensor

The RFC Series of non-contacting rotary sensors measure angles form 0 to 360 degrees. The RFC series has unlimited mechanical life because it is a rotary sensor with no moving parts. There are two assemblies the sensor with integrated micro-processor and associated electronics, and a separate magnet embedded in a shaft adapter. The adapter is affixed to a user’s shaft, which turns the shaft adapter and its magnet, not the sensing module. The RFC also provides the capability to make angle measurements through an isolation barrier, which up until now was not possible. The units have 12-bit resolution. Repeatability is less than 0.03 percent. They are sealed to IP69 and have redundant output.
