Tiny 24-Bit, I(2)C 4-Channel Delta-Sigma ADC Includes High-Accuracy Temperature Sensor

Submitted by nestorb on Fri, 2007-06-01 14:15.
The LTC2493 communicates via a 2-wire I2C-compatible serial interface and measures four single-ended or 2 differential analog inputs in a tiny 4mm x 3mm DFN package, consuming just 300uA(max). The LTC2493's novel Easy DriveTM architecture results in zero average differential input current, allowing measurements of high impedance input sources without the use of an internal buffer.

Goodrich Sensor Delivered for NASA's Hubble Space Telescope

Submitted by nestorb on Fri, 2007-06-01 14:15.
Hubble's fine guidance sensors are critical components of the telescope's precise pointing control system and are responsible for maintaining the stable pointing that produces the outstanding pictures and data provided by the Hubble. The fine guidance sensors are also used for astronomy. The technology aids in the discovery and measurement of the mass of planets in other solar systems and can improve theories of star formation and evolution by measuring the mass of binary star systems.

PLICSRADIO Wireless Systems From VEGA

Submitted by nestorb on Fri, 2007-06-01 14:15.
Each PLICSRADIO field transmitter can accommodate: up to 3 transmitters and two switches; using a combination of one 4-20 mA, HART and two digital inputs, (relay or NAMUR) they can also provide power for sensors. In-head PLICSRADIO display shows the radio signal strength and data. Simple configuration and diagnostics using the integral PLICSCOM programmer, or remote via PC using FDT/DTM and PACTware software, which also allows connection to set up compatible sensors remotely.
