September 2006 -- Telco Sensors continues to develop sensors that exceed their stated parameters - users of Telco systems know that the manufacturer's margins are up to 20% more in practice. This means not having to run 'close to the edge'. In the unlikely event of a failure, Spacemaster 6000 issues a warning by changing the status of the output signal.
The new 6000 series features:
* High immunity to environments - up to 50 000 Lux at an angle of 20°, also able to withstand dust, dirt, vibration, shock and water, without affecting functionality.
* Short detection time.
* Quick control/test input facility - the ability to run a control/test sequence during operation by use of the third wire.
* Equal Ton/Toff time of 5 ms on 6 m range - this, combined with the programming of the PLC means it can separate non-acceptable from acceptable objects, detecting with a frequency of 200 Hz (200 decisions per second).
* Protected against failure - Spacemaster 6000 exceeds the CE industrial approvals, giving full protection against power failures, wrong connections and overload.
* Extra long lifetime - both transmitter and receiver consume very little energy with only a minimal thermal rise.
* Receivers initially supplied in four different output versions.
