October 20, 2006 -- Rojone released its next generation vehicle protection system, the EziTrak Micro Vehicle Security and Tracking System. The new release is a more compact unit, using less power while offering more features.
The early warning anti-theft device is interactive and has no monthly or annual monitoring fees.
The EziTrak Micro is half the size of previous models, measuring only 80 mm (L) x 61 mm (W) x 35 mm (H) for use in vehicles from motorcycles to plant machinery. The outer casing has a low sheen black finish and has an internal vibration sensor.
The EziTrak Micro uses very little power; in deep sleep mode, usage is as low as 1 milliamp. The unit comes standard with an internal trickle-charged backup NIMH battery.
The internal phone module in the EziTrak Micro is compatible with all phone networks, meaning the EziTrak Micro can be used with any GSM system in the world.
The EziTrak Micro offers remote immobilization capability, when the ignition is off, in compliance with the relevant Australian and international standards.
The internal Black Box Recorder logs speed, position, time and date from 1-255 hours, as often as once per second. Particularly of use to fleet operators, the EziTrak Micro can now email the contents of the black box to an email address where the information can be downloaded and played back on a PC moving map display.
Vehicle owners can control the sensitivity of the vibration sensor with the new EziTrak Micro to reduce false alarms.
A personal PIN code adds security. Telephone menu options allow remote immobilization of the engine, lock and unlock the doors and a status report including location to within 6 meters.
The only additional requirement is a GSM SIM card from the users’ preferred network provider. Mapping software and GPRS access are optional extras.

Also, EziTraK, BikeBANDIT and BoatBANDIT combine GSM security and GPS tracking functions in a system that is not rented or leased. If the vehicle is sold, the unit can be transferred to the owner’s next vehicle, to continue comprehensive monitoring and protection.
EziTraK, BikeBANDIT and BoatBANDIT utilize GSM technology through the existing cellular network, which has 99% coverage throughout Australia. The only additional requirement is a GSM SIM card from your preferred network provider. A mobile phone or landline can be used to keep track of the vehicle.
The systems include a panic button as standard to alert family members or police in the crux of emergency situations such as road rage incidents. When the panic button is activated for 2 seconds, the system calls a designated phone number (mobile or landline) and sends an SMS message to a designated mobile phone to advise of an emergency and give the live coordinates of the vehicle.
A secure PIN code protects the system from misuse and from an intruder overriding the system.
