11 November 2005. BEAMEX, represented in Australia by AMS Instrumentation & Calibration Pty Ltd, has introduced two new MC2 calibrators for field use - the MC2 Temperature/Electrical Calibrator and the MC2 Multifunction Calibrator.
After the introduction of these two new models, the MC2 family will include three different portable calibrators in total. By launching a complete series of MC2 calibrators, Beamex aims to obtain a strong foothold in the category of practical and compact-sized field calibrators.
An MC2 calibrator is compact in size and design, which makes it easy to carry and use. The large graphical display, menu-based interface and full numerical keyboard mean that performing calibrations is quick and simple.
The standard rechargeable battery and battery charger facilitate active use of the MC2. Its impact protectors and membrane keyboard make the MC2 a robust, weatherproof calibrator made to withstand tough use.
All MC2 calibrators automatically include a traceable, accredited calibration certificate. The certificate provides real added value for a customer buying an MC2 and it is a concrete statement of the measurement accuracy of each individual calibrator.
Although the MC2 is practical, it is still a calibrator that offers plenty of features and functionality for pressure, temperature and electrical calibration.
It can be equipped with both internal and external pressure modules, which means wide configuration possibilities for pressure calibration.
Other functions include measurement and generation of current, voltage, frequency, thermocouple temperature, RTD temperature, resistance, pulses and switch testing.
The MC2 has also internal HART compatible 24Vdc loop supply.
