18 Apr 2006 -- CIT Relay & Switch has introduced the SH series of
miniature illuminated momentary switches that feature single or bi-color LED
options and a variety of cap and actuator colors.
The SH series is available in a variety of non-illuminated and
illuminated package styles. The switch family features more than 25 different
cap/actuator options and a 3.3mm square post for custom actuator
designs. The series offers pre-engraved off-the-shelf process symbols
including lighted "on-off" and "arrow" directional symbols. A 12mm flat
actuator combined with a short 0.5mm travel is suitable for use under
laminated panels.
The RoHS-compliant SH series switches are available in high-temperature
versions where ambient process temperatures may exceed 100 0C. The
switches feature positive tactile feedback and offer a long life at 100,000
cycles. The switches handle currents to 50mA at 35Vdc.
The SH series can be used in digital applications as an input, reset
and on/off switch in audio products, electronic games, appliance,
instrumentation, video and other applications that require a subminiature
switch.
Volume pricing for the SH switches is 28 cents, depending on
configuration. Delivery is four weeks.
