6 October 2006 -- Magnetrol International and Dow Chemicals have decided to seal their co-operation of many years by entering into a two-year global purchasing agreement for liquid level measurement and detection instrumentation. Magnetrol is renowned for made to measure instruments, and for offering solutions in extreme process conditions and environments. With success, tests have been conducted within Dow for level measurement in steam drums up to 124 bar @ 327C.
With the co-operation of Dow, Magnetrol was the first supplier of electronic field instrumentation to receive a Stoomwezen type approval in 2000 for use on steam drums.
For this purchasing agreement, the following technologies of our product portfolio are approved by Dow: guided wave radar, ultrasonic level switches, mechanical level switches and transmitters, and visual contents indicators.
