Wednesday, July 26, 2006: Digi-Key Corporation, an electronic component distributor, and U.S. Sensor Corp. have inked a global distribution agreement, under which Digi-Key will distribute the latter’s thermistors and thermistor probes and assemblies.
Digi-Key will offer U.S. Sensor's thermistors, including through hole and surface mount parts with several initial resistance ratings. Other products offered include inrush current limiting thermistors and thin film resistance temperature detectors (RTD). U.S. Sensor products will be featured in both Digi-Key's print and online catalogs. This new distribution agreement will allow Digi-Key to fulfill both the prototype and production quantity needs of its diverse customer base.
U.S. Sensor's products include NTC and PTC thermistors, which are produced using proprietary processing techniques.
