Jan 13, 2007 -- Milford CT, USA -- Differential pressure (DP or Delta-P) transmitters from Orange Research are designed for applications involving high line pressures.

The transmitters are available in piston and diaphragm sensor models rated from 1,500- to 5,000-psig line pressures. Piston models cover DP ranges of 0-5 to 0-1,000 psid; diaphragm models cover DP ranges of 0-5 to 0-300 psid. Orange Research transmitters incorporate a Hall-effect sensor to transform DP measurement into an electrical output.

Every transmitter is capable of providing voltage, current, frequency or RS 232 output. The user simply selects the output desired. Built-in temperature compensation ensures that the output of the transmitter does not drift. Each transmitter can be installed as a three- or four-wire connection.

Most of the safety ratings for switch enclosures available with these DP models also apply to the transmitters. Models with enclosures meet a variety of requirements, from NEMA-4X to Class 1, Div. 1 or Div. 2, or UL, CSA, CE or ATEX ratings, and many more.

The DP transmitters also are available with optional dials for local readout. Dials can include dual scales, follower pointers, red or multicolor arcs and other choices to meet specific requirements.

Model 1203PT Piston Transmitter and Model 1203PGT Piston Gauge-Transmitter which have maximum line pressure ratings of 5,000 psig and are available with DP ranges from 0-5 to 0-150 psid. Other piston and diaphragm sensor transmitter models are available to meet specific line pressure and DP range requirements.

Orange Research offers a large selection of low-cost, rugged and reliable DP designs with pressure bodies machined from solid blocks of metal. Built to last, these products are known for long life and reliable service under the harshest conditions.
