Flame Detector monitors for hydrocarbon-based fires.

Submitted by nestorb on Sat, 2005-05-07 06:38.
The FlameGard UV/ IR Flame Detector from MSA Instrument Division is specifically designed to continuously monitor for hydrocarbon-based fires. The system detects the ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) radiation that is emitted by hydrocarbon-fueled fires and flames, and responds by activating a relay, which can be part of a fire alarm loop or connected to a digital control system (DCS).

A new non-invasive flame sensor
