DS30 distance sensor available from Sick
Submitted by nestorb on Sat, 2007-06-16 12:42. The DS30 available from Sick is more than just an expansion of one of the wide portfolios of industrial distance sensors on the market with its hitherto unique combination of small housing size and precision the DS30 represents a new era of time-of-flight of light measurement.
Level measurement in control
Submitted by nestorb on Wed, 2007-06-06 17:59. Vega offers a range of rugged level measurement devices designed to withstand pressure shocks, abrasion, moisture, vibration, pollution and condensation. Tough housings protect the fully potted electronics from the moist, humid ambient conditions and the harsh cleaning processes typical of this industry. To measure up to the increasing demands on operational reliability, SIL (Safety Integrity Level) classified instruments are available.
Realtime thermal images of high speed rotating calendar rolls
Submitted by nestorb on Tue, 2007-06-05 23:47. The SS100 System is an automated inspection system for detecting, measuring, and classifying thermal features and defects occurring on soft roll calenders used in paper-making.
LEM introduces new current transducers
Submitted by nestorb on Tue, 2007-06-05 13:47. The LA 300 series is optimised for industrial applications and the transducers are characterised for temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. The LAC 300 series is optimised for traction applications and meets the EN 50155 standard for vibration, temperature and pollution.
CU-Boulder Researchers To Fly Environmental Sensor In Major DOE Climate Study
Submitted by nestorb on Mon, 2007-06-04 13:47. The Cloud and Land Surface Interaction Campaign and a coordinated experiment known as the Cumulus Humilis Aerosol Processing Study involve a combination of aircraft and ground-based measurements to enable researchers to capture the full breadth of fluctuations in carbon dioxide, moisture, aerosol particles, cloud properties and radiative energy from within the Earth's surface to the top of the atmospheric boundary layer.
Measuring light screen
Submitted by nestorb on Mon, 2007-06-04 13:47. The two-component light screen enables simple commissioning. The signal processor is entirely integrated in the receiver housing and can be configured via six DIP switches. A 3-digit display and a LED bargraph indicate the status and the orientation of the emitter and the receiver. If required, the configuration can also be implemented with the delivered software.
INTERPHEX and PharmaMedDevice 2007 Meet the Needs of the Industry
Submitted by nestorb on Sat, 2007-06-02 15:41. INTERPHEX and PharmaMedDevice Show Organizers Announce Exciting New Developments for 2008
Free onsite calibration from a qualified engineer?
Submitted by nestorb on Fri, 2007-06-01 23:30. Have they gone mad? It seems not: Hach Lange says that all you have to do is purchase two packs of their high quality reagents for every free calibration...and you are probably buying them already!
PLICSRADIO Wireless Systems From VEGA
Submitted by nestorb on Fri, 2007-06-01 14:15. Each PLICSRADIO field transmitter can accommodate: up to 3 transmitters and two switches; using a combination of one 4-20 mA, HART and two digital inputs, (relay or NAMUR) they can also provide power for sensors. In-head PLICSRADIO display shows the radio signal strength and data. Simple configuration and diagnostics using the integral PLICSCOM programmer, or remote via PC using FDT/DTM and PACTware software, which also allows connection to set up compatible sensors remotely.
Two packs of reagent for free calibration
Submitted by nestorb on Fri, 2007-06-01 14:15. Hach Lange is offering a free calibration of their spectrophotometers (models DR2000, DR2010, DR2400 and DR2500) with each purchase of two packs of high quality reagent
