Digital Viscosity Meter Expands Real Time Viscosity Measurement Into New Process Applications
Submitted by nestorb on Fri, 2006-11-10 19:24. A new real-time digital viscosity meter, designed to eliminate the need for a sample loop, has been introduced by Solartron Mobrey of Houston, Texas.
On-line viscosity measurement enables continuity
Submitted by nestorb on Mon, 2006-08-07 13:42. An on-line viscometer that requires virtually no maintenance and provides a continuous real-time readout is playing a key role in keeping the production lines running for a major toner producer.
On-line viscometer ends production losses
Submitted by nestorb on Thu, 2006-07-27 14:37. An intrinisically safe process viscometer measures viscosity of resin, which directly reflects its solid content and wetting performance, when fabricating copper-clad laminates and so avoid losses.
Intrinsically safe on-line viscosity measurement
Submitted by nestorb on Thu, 2006-06-22 20:03. Viscosity is not usually a property associated with the highly-staining powdered ink toner used in printers and photocopiers, but it is measured by the intrinsically safe Hydramotion XL7 at 200C
Co-operation in viscosity measurement technologies
Submitted by nestorb on Fri, 2006-03-31 22:59. Biode and Vectron International will share acoustic wave viscosity sensor design and technology expertise, and will jointly promote the Biode ViSmart suite of viscosity sensors to target markets
Measuring viscosity in the field
Submitted by nestorb on Tue, 2006-03-28 07:11. Newer technology to measure viscosity is now providing technicians, researchers and operators with fast, reliable viscosity measurement that does away with the clumsy methods of the past.
Partnership takes Biode to next level
Submitted by nestorb on Sun, 2006-03-12 19:52. Under the agreement, Vectron gains an equity stake in Biode and Hajec a seat on the Westbrook company's board of directors. Biode obtains access to Vectron's sales, marketing, research and development and processing expertise...
Battery-powered portable viscometer for small sample volumes
Submitted by nestorb on Thu, 2006-01-05 08:10. This versatile instrument is proving its worth wherever quick yet reliable viscosity measurement is needed. For example, a printing press operator can accurately measure ink viscosity — a key parameter in print quality — in a matter of seconds using only a fraction of the sample volume other methods require...
Viscometer for Use in Small-Scale Reaction Vessels
Submitted by nestorb on Tue, 2005-12-27 10:33. The sensor is a solid probe with no moving parts, bearings or seals that could wear out or fail in service, and it is available in any length to suit different vessel sizes. The standard sensor is constructed from 316-stainless steel, but other materials can be used if required.
