The division is headed up by General Manager Mark Perrins, formerly General Manager of D&M professional Europe. Commenting on the formation of DMi he stated: "D&M Europe has monitored the CI market carefully over recent years; in particular, the gradual convergence towards a more general custom and commercial install market, with common products, customers and support requirements. This has led us to the logical step of merging our existing Pro division with our CI sales operation, creating a division more clearly focussed on customer requirements, with an emphasis on technical support.

"As a supplier of an extensive portfolio of leading branded products for the commercial and custom install markets, our aim is to supply both the installer and the customer with high-quality solutions, and provide benchmark technical support to ensure the cross-platform protocol issues are navigated more easily. As a dedicated division, we will quickly become a key provider for quality solutions to network source, and multi-room audio and video distribution."
