The Hydramotion Viscolite T15 portable viscometer is specially designed for on-the-spot viscosity measurement in small sample volumes, down to just 10 ml (0.34 oz).
This versatile instrument is proving its worth wherever quick yet reliable viscosity measurement is needed. For example, a printing press operator can accurately measure ink viscosity — a key parameter in print quality — in a matter of seconds using only a fraction of the sample volume other methods require.
The sensor is an all-welded 316 stainless steel construction connected to a battery-powered display unit. Viscosity can be read as soon as the sensor is dipped into the fluid. After use, the sensor just needs to be wiped clean and it is ready for the next measurement. An integrated thermometer means users can take temperature-corrected readings instantly. Repeatability is excellent and the instrument has high sensitivity, even at low viscosity.
With no bearings, seals or moving parts, maintenance requirements are minimal. A robust carrying case is supplied. Every viscometer is factory-calibrated to traceable international standards.
