There are some advantages of this switcher versus the others, which I would like to point out. One of the biggest advantages is a signal enhance mode, which essentially is a signal amplification mode. This mode should be used when running a cable up to 50 feet in length and when display has problems picking up the signal because of the length. This mode will virtually guarantee that as long as your cable is no longer than 50 feet from the switcher, you will have sufficient signal strength and will not require a booster.
Another advantage is RS-232 Port. This connection is used with HTPC and Home Automation applications. It enables a full control over the switcher from Home Theater PC or any other controller, as long as it has RS-232 port.
Just like every other switcher, it supports resolutions up to 1080p. And with industrial components used in the manufacturing process, there is no issue with signal degradation.
In the end, we have a piece of equipment at the same price point, just with more capabilities.
Atlona Technologies is a subdivision of Lenexpo Electronics, created as one of our own cable and equipment brand names. Every cable and a piece of equipment manufactured under this brand name meets or exceeds the standards set by US, Canadian and European Governments.
